"Want to go to the PROM?" ask out at Cruising Altitude

OK, cutest Prom Ask Out ever! Someone in World Headquarters found out who the pilot was on my flight the other day from LAX to Washington DC. His son knew his dream date was traveling on this flight, so he requested that the pilot make an announcement while at cursing altitude to invite his girl to the HS Prom. About mid flight the captain paused  the inflight movie, got on the PA and said and I Quote, "Ladies and Gentleman I have a very important announcement to make…(Meanwhile all passengers where thinking the worst) It has come to my attention that Amy So and So is on this flight with 20 of her High School friends…Well Ben has contacted me and would like to invite you to the Senior Prom…Will you except?" OH my god….Everyone on the plan started clapping and were in AWE  of this cute BEN  and arrangements he made to get the pilot to do this!!!

People usually hear about airline horror stories, well Im here to report this was just PLANE FUN!!!! Everyone deplaned and said it was the best flight ever!!!    Today was super fun!!!  And by the way she said YES!!!

Meeting Charles

Charles Krauthammer was seated in my first class cabin on my last flight… He may very well be the most interesting passenger I have ever encountered and met in my 26 years of flying. Most people do not know he is paralyzed. He is a true inspiration and probably one of the smartest men on the planet. So so nice to have met you Charles! You are simply said, AMAZING! Love the Yellow tie! Next stop, Denver, Colorado

A day in a life after coming back from a leave

I came back to work after an extended leave of 30 months and was so happy to do so! The kids are getting older and much more self sufficient and they are excited as well for my adventures of travel.
My first flight back, I had a very strange flight attendant on a really good trip. Two of us traded into this flight thinking what a great trip it was and was surprised know one else wanted it. Well it turns out the Lead F/A was a complete freak and extremely paranoid. No wonder her flight crew traded out! She firmly believed all the passengers were out to get us!  LOL  They were not and were actually some of the nicest passengers around! Ok this babe needs to retire! My layover in San DIego was amazing! The day couldn't have been nicer. A jog on the marina water front and a fantastic dinner! Great intro back to the world of Flying the globe! C'ant wait for my next trip and Layover! Next stop Denver, Co.
